Carly Du Clinical Hypnotherapy

Gentle, Structured Support for Meaningful Inner Change

Clinical hypnotherapy, Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT), and nervous-system regulation offer focused ways to work with the emotional reactions, stress responses, and familiar patterns that influence how we think, feel, and move through life.

At Carly Du Clinical Hypnotherapy, I support adults experiencing anxiety, trauma-related responses, emotional overwhelm, chronic stress, self-doubt, people-pleasing, recurring patterns, confidence and performance blocks, fear of being seen or heard, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Many clients understand their struggles logically but still find themselves caught in reactions that are difficult to shift through insight or willpower alone.

My approach is personalized, trauma-informed, and respectful of your pace. Clinical hypnotherapy uses focused attention and guided therapeutic work to address subconscious processes. IEMT uses guided eye movements and carefully structured questions to help lessen the emotional intensity connected with difficult experiences and recurring emotional patterns.

IEMT can also address identity imprints—the sense of “who I am” that may have developed around earlier experiences, relationships, or life roles. Identity re-imprinting helps update and integrate these older aspects of identity, supporting a clearer sense of self and greater choice in how you respond in the present.

Nervous-system regulation practices, informed by Polyvagal Theory, help you understand your body’s stress responses and develop practical ways to become more grounded, settled, and connected.

Depending on your needs, these approaches may be used individually or combined with NLP, parts work, inner child work, HeartMath-informed practices, subconscious repatterning, and practical integration tools. Throughout the process, you remain aware, involved, and in control.

When helpful, I collaborate with counsellors and other mental health practitioners so clinical hypnotherapy, IEMT, or nervous-system regulation can complement broader mental health support. Each practitioner remains professionally independent, and collaboration takes place only with your consent and appropriate confidentiality practices.

Every person and every goal is different. We begin with a free consultation to discuss what you would like support with, answer your questions, and determine whether this approach feels right for you. If you choose to continue, I create a personalized session plan based on your goals, current needs, history, and readiness.

This work is designed to help you understand yourself more clearly, lessen emotional intensity, respond differently to familiar triggers, strengthen confidence and performance, and create lasting inner change.
